YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
-
Is RESTED regulated by Health authorities?
Rested complies with the regulations in force in the UK, EU and USA. In the UK, food supplements are covered by food law. Therefore we comply with the standards established by this authority.
-
Can I open my capsule and only intake the powder?
If you have difficulty swallowing capsules, you can open the capsules and mix them in a small amount of water, yoghurt or fruit compote.
-
Do I need to take Rested regularly to see optimal results?
We advise you to take Rested regularly for at least 2 weeks since it's designed to improve your sleep cycle over time.
-
Can I take Rested on an ad hoc basis?
Yes, if you only experience sleep disturbances from time to time, you can take Rested on an ad hoc basis.
-
How long does it take to fall asleep on average with RESTED?
The time needed to fall asleep after taking Rested may differ between individuals. Some experience rapid, almost instantaneous relaxation, while others need more time. On average, it can take from 10 to 30 minutes to fall asleep. Lifestyle habits and each person's physiology also play an important role in falling asleep.
-
Will I struggle to wake up after taking Rested?
We’ve developed Rested to combat the next-day sensations that can come from some sleep aids. That said, we do also recognise that the effects of Rested on sleep may vary from one person to another. Particularly the sleep adaptation mechanism, which may take longer for some people.
If you typically have trouble waking up, we advise you to reduce the dose, for example from 2 capsules to 1 capsule. Positive lifestyle habits including regular wake-up times and exposure to daylight in the morning are essential to harmonise your sleep cycles, and we encourage Rested alongside these beneficial practices.
It’s possible that your alarm clock might awaken you while you’re in the deep sleep phase after taking Rested. If this is the case, we recommend trying the intelligent alarm clock offered by certain applications (just be sure to disable Bluetooth on your device after setting your alarm).
If you wake up feeling tired repeatedly, we recommend that you consult with your doctor.
-
Can I take RESTED alongside Sleep Medications?
Rested is all-natural, but everyone’s body can react differently and we want to ensure that all of our customers are safe when consuming our products. We advise that you speak with your doctor when introducing Rested alongside other medications.
-
Can I drink alcohol while taking RESTED?
Rested can present an additive sedative effect with alcohol. This could lead to increased drowsiness and impaired cognitive functions. Alcohol is known to impair the quality of your sleep.
-
Can I drive or operate heavy machinery after taking RESTED?
It is recommended not to drive or perform tasks requiring intense concentration immediately after taking sleep-supporting products.
-
Can my body get used to RESTED?
The efficacy of Rested remains constant, although the notion of therapeutic tolerance exists for all active molecules. If you notice a drop in efficacy, you can suspend Rested for a few days before re-starting your treatment. Taking Rested promotes optimal sleep and does not induce harmful short or long term changes that could prevent you from sleeping when you stop taking it. Taking Rested on a regular basis can induce longer-lasting positive effects on your sleep. As a result, it's possible to observe its effects even after you've stopped taking it. As your body is unique, we recommend that you adapt the dosage and pace to your needs.
