The why
Some wellness brands start with a sleek logo or a viral launch. DIOME began with a problem — one that felt both personal and universal. For years, founder Jianne Jamil watched her mother struggle with anxiety and poor sleep, relying on medication that brought relief but also side effects. Whenever she tried to stop, her natural rhythm disappeared; going back meant dealing with the downsides. “There was no safe, effective middle ground,” says Jianne. “Nothing that truly supported her body.” At the time, Jianne was working in luxury consumer brands, yet felt let down by wellness products that looked good yet rarely delivered meaningful results. Meanwhile, naturopath Emilie Delanoue — now DIOME’s director of product — was seeing the same issue in clinic. “I often found myself combining botanicals, key micronutrients and, when needed, a targeted complex,” she recalls. “There was no single formula that brought these elements together.” With Dr Maria Jencikova, a scientist and medical doctor — now the brand’s formulator — the idea for DIOME was born.

The philosophy
Our mission is simple: to consider the body as an interconnected system — nervous, endocrine and digestive — together with the circadian rhythm that helps coordinate them. These systems are known to play a role in shaping how we feel each day, including aspects related to sleep, stress, mood and hormonal regulation. For DIOME, these aren’t separate issues. Stress elevates cortisol; elevated cortisol can influence endocrine balance; hormonal shifts affect mood and sleep; and reduced sleep quality impacts a wide range of physiological functions. The cycle is constant — and for many, relentless. DIOME’s approach is designed to work upstream, at the source, supporting the body’s natural mechanisms and helping it maintain its physiological balance. This systems-led, holistic focus is what makes us different.

The formulas
DIOME will never flood the market with endless products. Instead, we’ll create a select few — each held to the highest standard. Our debut, Rested, shows this ethos in action. While it supports sleep, its benefits go deeper: helping the body unwind, supporting the nervous system, digestive comfort, neurotransmitter balance and the shift into deep rest. In a UK-based independent study with 100 participants, Rested improved not just sleep quality but also mood, mental clarity and morning steadiness — all signs of a better regulated nervous system. Up next is Grounded, our daytime formula for mental clarity, emotional balance and stress resilience.

The science
Our approach is rare in the supplement world, where single-ingredient capsules and generic blends dominate. We formulate products that support multiple pathways simultaneously, mirroring the interconnected way the body functions. We avoid buzzy ingredients with questionable safety profiles, prioritising those that are standardised, clinically studied and safe to take long-term. Every dose is selected for efficacy, not marketing appeal. Each ingredient in a DIOME formula must meet five strict criteria: it must be supported by research, safe for ongoing use, high quality, synergistic with the wider formula, and fully traceable and independently tested. Our formulation timelines reflect this rigour — products take years, not months, to develop. Sourcing follows the same principles. Many of our botanicals are grown to order to ensure purity, consistency and active compound levels. All formulas are manufactured in France under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) conditions and are third-party tested for heavy metals, pesticides and microbial contamination. Every step is designed to ensure both clinical integrity and consumer trust.

The vision
As we grow, we’ll focus on the areas people struggle with most, like hormone balance, mood and cognitive function. These are complex, often underserved areas — and they’re exactly where DIOME’s systems-led, research-first approach is most needed. We’re here to help people feel more themselves, one formula at a time. “In an ideal world, your body would rebalance on its own,” says Jianne. “But until it can, we’re here — with formulas that don’t just help you cope, but help you come back to yourself.”
